Plug-in electric mowers tend to be fairly inexpensive, Cosby says.

If your corded electric mower has failed, it might make sense to buy a new mower.

Though managing the extension cord can be a challenge, cordedelectric lawn mowersare quiet and lightweight.

They’re also greener than battery models because they plug directly into household 120V current.

Cosby cautions that manual push mowers tend to become rusty.
