If this happens, repot the plant using fresh, loose, well-draining soil, Omelchenko says.
Remove your monstera from the pot and cut off any rotten roots.
Lower the amount of water you give your monstera, only watering when the topsoil is dry.

Not Enough Light
Of course, you dont want to limit the sunlight too much either.
Its important to know exactly how muchlight a monstera needs.
To fix this problem, move your monstera to a place with better light.
Too Much Fertilizer
Monstera likes having access to nutrients regularly for healthy growth.
However, overfeeding can lead to chemical burns, damaging the roots and causing foliage browning, Omelchenko says.
Natural Aging
Everything ages, including houseplants.
Sometimes, yellowing, browning, and drying of monstera leaves are natural.
It will have dark brown or black spots on the foliage.
The leaves will start yellowing first, then browning and drying at the tips.
