“The vinegar should turn the color of the wine after soaking,” Pozniak says.

Always check the stained area before tossing it in the dryer as heat will set the stain.

A final hack for stubborn red wine stains on light-colored fabrics is a quick spritz with hydrogen peroxide.
Spray enough so the fabric is thoroughly wet then allow the fabric to air dry.
