For your DIY projects (if there are any), what was the estimated cost?

My most recent favorite is the beautiful wooden island in my kitchen.

I found it on Facebook Marketplace for only $100!

Another amazingFacebook Marketplace findwas the giant still-life oil painting in my kitchen.

$125 and it’s huge.

I love it so much.

When it comes to projects, I must admit I am not a huge DIY-er.

One of my favorite projects to date is the wall of shelves in my living room.

It instantly elevated the room, and created a space for me to display objects I love.

But I believe it was somewhere around $3k in total.

What has been the most challenging part of making your apartment a home?

I think the hardest part has been the learning curve.

The other challenge is the time it takes to find the perfect pieces.

Apartments, for most, are temporary.

Every day I’m grateful that I’ve decided toinvest in my home.

It really has been a no-brainer for me.

My biggest tip is to just get started!

It’s wild to see how much your spaceand your stylecan evolve as time goes on.

Don’t be afraid to make “mistakes” either.

They are so, so necessary to get to where you want to be.
