A fully charged battery can last up to 700 hours, but turbo mode drains it much faster.

With that in mind, I think this is a solid lower-cost option that provides a lot of value.

Despite its small size and lightweight build, this flashlight proved to be very durable during our drop tests.

This lightweight rechargeable lantern serves three functions, which makes it useful when space and weight are limited.

It can be used as a flashlight, a lantern, or an emergency power bank.

This is an extremely versatile and powerful flashlight with four primary output levels ranging from 15 to 1,000 lumens.

Its high output is twice as high as the turbo mode of ourbest keychainpick, the Nitecore Tini2.

This flashlight is so bright that heat can actually be a concern.

It continued working without so much as a flicker of the light or a scratch to the casing.

The grip is comfortable too, with a trigger style power button for easy one handed operation.

This flashlight is part of my everyday carry since its connected to my keychain.

It lasts a long time between charges, too60 hours on the lowest setting.

Thats why I love these plug-in Energizer Weatheready rechargeable LED flashlights.

Theyre also useful for brief, regular excursions, like taking your dog out at night.

I also considered a number of flashlights that I have used professionally and in daily life.

Thats why I carry a rechargeable flashlight with replaceable lithium-ion batteries.

This allows me to charge up some extras for an emergency or a long outdoor excursion.

Its also more powerful than my MT10C, with a rotating head and magnetic base.

I also recommend checking how a flashlight charges before making your selection.

The three main factors to look at are impact resistance, dust protection, and water protection.

Each of the flashlights we tested survived at least a 3-foot fall.

If you work on ladders or in other elevated areas, look for one with a higher drop rating.

These numbers look like IP54, IP68, or IPX7.

The second number indicates how well the flashlight is protected against water intrusion.

Should you leave a rechargeable flashlight plugged in continuously?

Rechargeable flashlights typically use lithium ion batteries that can degrade over time if you leave them charging too long.

My personal favorite jot down of flashlight is rechargeable with replaceable batteries.

They provide the highest level of convenience and reliability and generate less e-waste.
