We were immediately impressed when we stepped onto this mat after a shower.

A variety of stone bath mats on marble flooring

It instantly soaked up the water from our feet.

We think the sensation compares to feeling hot rocks evaporate water from your feet after swimming in the ocean.

However, the mat’s imprinted pattern makes it our favorite out of the lot we’ve tested.

If you need something bigger, theMomo Lifestyle Drytomita(our best large pick) provides a spacious platform.

Just like the other mats on our list, this mat has a chalkboard-like surface.

It features a distinctive and tasteful pattern that adds traction when stepping out of the bath or shower.

It’s also available in granite or slate colorways with marbling.

We also accidentally dropped anentirebaby bathtub of water on the floor.

But still, the mat was dry when we returned a few hours later.

However, we noticed a lot of water dripping down between the stone slats.

All this said the larger size is slightly difficult to carry.

However, the added length makes it a great option for longer shower-tub units.

This mat has the least intricate texture on our list, with a single groove running down its middle.

We tested the larger 16.75- x 25.5-inch mat, which doesn’t have an anti-slip backing.

However, its 5.7-pound weight kept it from sliding even on the tile floor of our bathroom.

When we were using it at home, it felt sturdy and dried out in justfive seconds.

Our list of bath mats has sizes starting at 23 x 15 inches up to 32 x 20 inches.

The four tiles can also be arranged in a one-by-four configuration that works well for bathtubs.

That said, a non-slip backing ensures that the mat stays in place on your unique flooring material.

We found that theSutera Stone Bath Matslid around on our lab’s flooring more than at home.

This particular mat comes with a separate non-slip pad that you place under it.

If you have uneven tiling, you may find that these mats tend to crawl.

The size of your stone bath mat can also add to its safety and ease of use.

Always allow your bath mat to dry fully before returning it to your flooring.
