It has a resilient construction, maintaining its shape nicely.

It has a full, overstuffed feel, but never felt uncomfortably high.

When it comes to washing the pillow at home, we appreciate that it can be machine-washed and tumble-dried.
After six months of testing, we still use this pillow regularly and absolutely love it.
Other than the slight loss of loss, it still looks as good as new.
It is filled with down clusters, creating the softest option of the three available down support levels.
Meanwhile, a 100 percent cotton sateen shell prevents the down from poking through.

In our opinion, the firm option is also the best down pillow for side sleeping.
Unsurprisingly, if you are someone seeking maximal neck support, this option wont be best suited for you.
However, this pillow isnt machine washable like other choices on our list.

Its decently stuffed but has a resilient feel, offering a cloud-like construction.
Throughout the testing period, the filling never clumped up or got lumpy.

It came out of the washer and dryer looking great, with no changes in its appearance of loft.
We found it was a bit too plush for side sleepers, who may require a firmer pillow.
As for stomach sleepers, they may prefer a bit less loft.
The center is filled with 80 percent feathers and 20 percent down for support toward the core.
Then, the outer layers are filled with pure down for extra softness.
We liked its luxurious design, and the organic cotton shell feels very soft.
The pillow felt comfortable but lost its loft rather quickly.
Specifically, people who sleep on their stomachs will benefit from lower densities, generally.
Back sleepers typically need a medium-density pillow.
Down, Feathers, or Both?
