So how does the power meter work?
Dan takes the meter around the house room by room, outlet by outlet, looking for vampire appliances.
He plugs the meter directly into the outlet, and then plugs the appliance-in-question into the meter.
(It only works on standard appliances.
You cant use it on something like an electric vehicle.)
