It was fine, but it was also lackluster.
I found myself increasingly jealous of other planters that always looked curated and intentional.
In our case, our terrace is a complete sun trap.

When its not raining in London, its a space that has direct sunlight the whole day.
In the autumn, this is more manageable, partly because it rains so much.
These are tall, cheery yellow flowers that are absolute eyecatchers, and promise to be perennial.

They flower from May to September, but ours are still happily in bloom in October.
Much like the coreopsis, the label promises blooms through September, but were still getting flowers into October.
Thewhite pasqueflowerswe settled on are currently very green, spiky-leafed plants with no flowers.

According to the label, they love full sun and should bloom in March or April.
For now, theyre filling out our container beautifully.
Plus, its guaranteed to do its job of spilling over the edge.

Final Result?
And in the meantime, Im loving the look of our tiny outdoor space each time I pass by.
