Make Any Needed Tile Repairs

Examine the tiles for any cracks or chips.

Fill them in with caulk, scraping off the excess with aputty knife.

Replace grout as needed; apply some with a gloved finger and wipe it off with a rag.

Be sure to let everything dry completely before starting the next step.

Apply the Primer

Apply the primer as directed using either a roller or paintbrush.

Apply one or two coats as directed, letting each one dry completely.

Paint the Tile

Using a paint brush or roller, apply your first coat of paint.

Be sure to cover the grout, too.

Let dry, then apply a second coat as needed.

Start by cleaning the tile surround.

(Dont worry, it looks milky in the can, but itwilldry clear.)

Practice with your stencil on a piece of paper or cardboard to get the hang of it first.

Then, place the stencil on the tile and secure the edges with painters tape.

Dab on some paint, building the color slowly so its not too thick.

Then, let it dry for a bit.

Stagger your work to avoid working directly next to a tile youve just completed to avoid smudging the paint.
