Or use tin snips to cut the desired shapes.

Use a nail set to recess the nail heads below the trim’s surface.
Floating, interlocking vinyl planks are recommended over adhesive or glue-down planks, as they are easier for beginners.
Some vinyl plank flooring comes with a pad pre-attached underneath.
