Replace Carrier Stems

What Is a Carrier Stem?

A carrier stem is the small rectangular piece of plastic that clamps around the top of the blind.

Carefully unknot the string.

First, start by making sure there are no obstructions in the way.

If that doesn’t work, stick to this to repair cordless blinds.

If batteries are low, the blinds may not be working correctly.

Readjust the Tension

Take one end of the blind out of the bracket.

Spin it with the spring in the bracket and have a go at increase/readjust the tension.

For horizontal blinds, pull down and sway gently from side to side before lifting back up carefully.

Unroll the shade manually to reset the tension.
