Identify the Leaking Faucet

Valve cartridges must bereplaced with a new valve cartridgespecific to the faucet brand and model.
The bathtub or shower surround hole should be several inches wide and large enough to remove the valve cartridge.
If not, cut away the surround with an oscillating multi-tool or hacksaw to gain access.
Do not cut the hole larger than the diameter of the escutcheon plate.
You may also want to call a plumber if the surrounding wall hampers access to the single-handle valve cartridge.
