Add one section of an artificial tree.

Give the bag a good shake.

Remove the tree section and move on to the other sections before storing the tree.

Blend 3 parts distilled white vinegar or hydrogen peroxide and 1 part water in a spray bottle.

Lightly spray the tree and leave it outdoors in direct sunlight for two to three hours to whiten it.
