With Melvin’s early mornings at TODAY, he likes everything to be in order.

“I organize the ties by certain colors,” Melvin says.

“I like for my suits to go from light to dark.

All of my socks have a separate container.

My belts have a separate container.

I find that neatness and organization, it helps me function and compartmentalize.”

Czarniak, on the other hand, calls her organizational style “under construction.”

“It is evolving,” Czarniak says.

“It is looking for an identity.

I know what I need to work on, and that’s it.”

Melvin uses the time to brush up on his interviewing skills.

“Lindsay does a great job of making sure that we have family dinner time,” Melvin says.

‘What was the best thing that happened today?

What was the worst thing that happened today?’

“It’s not just about raising money for awareness and prevention,” Melvin says.

We’re trying to save a life."
