“My favorite way to use contrasting trim is with wallpaper,” she says.
“Paint the trim in the whole home a few shades darker than the walls.
This can really warm up a new open-concept home,” says Wilke.
Opting for a darker shade also makes your wall color or wallpaper patterns pop.
