We’ve created the ultimate bedroom cleaning checklist to help you do just that.

You should always clean from the top down because as you remove dirt and dust, it falls.

Dust your ceiling fan, light fixtures, and tops of your windows and doorframes if needed.

Make and Refresh Your Bed

Making your bed will instantly make your room feel cleaner.

As you make your bed, pay attention to anything that looks like it needs your attention.

If your mattress cover looks dirty, wash it.

If you’re able to see dust on your headboard, dust it.

Put Things Away

Scan the surfaces in your room and put away any stray items.

Everything should have a home, and if it doesn’t, find one.

Place items that need to go in other rooms in a laundry basket, and put them away last.

This will save you time from having to go back and forth between rooms.

Give Your Floors Some TLC

Take note of what your floor needs.

If there is dirt visible, it’s time.

Take items to donate and list anything you want to sell.

Do it right away so it doesn’t end up sitting around.
