As you make your bed, pay attention to anything that looks like it needs your attention.

If your mattress cover looks dirty, wash it.
If you’re able to see dust on your headboard, dust it.
Put Things Away
Scan the surfaces in your room and put away any stray items.

Everything should have a home, and if it doesn’t, find one.
Place items that need to go in other rooms in a laundry basket, and put them away last.
This will save you time from having to go back and forth between rooms.

Take note of what your floor needs.

Take items to donate and list anything you want to sell.
