If your luggage has wheels, wipe those down well, too.

Remove all items, including attachable pockets and laundry bags.

Wash those items separately in a washing machine, orhand wash themin a bowl of water with laundry detergent.

Vacuum Out the Inside of the Suitcase

Fully open your luggage and give it a good shake.

This should help release any larger debris.

Next, vacuum the inside of your suitcase, making sure not to miss corners and small crevices.

Wiping down luggage handles and wheels

Wipe the treated areas down again with your water-only cloth.

You don’t want to use an abrasive sponge that would scrape that hard-sided material.

If you want to go above and beyond, buff the exterior with a wax-basedfurniture polishor silicone-based auto wax.

Try Fabric Spray on Soft-Shell Luggage

Prepare a mixture of water and dish soap.

Using a soft cleaning brush, gently work the solution into the fibers of the luggage.

For any trouble spots, use a toothbrush to work out the dirt buildup.

Emptying out the inside of the suitcase

Spray the upholstery cleaner on the stained spots, rubbing the foam into the spots with a soft brush.

After five minutes, wipe away the foam with a wet cloth and let air dry.
