Ive lived in the Northeast most of my life and have recently tested this time-saving (and sweat-saving!)

To tackle heavier snowfall, we recommend opting for asnow blowerinstead.

However, at 12 inches wide, its not too bulky to carry or maneuver.

I also love that this is much quieter than a snow blower.

Like most electric snow shovels, this Snow Joe model has a few quirks.

Just know that the wider width might make it harder to clear steps.

We like that it includes a cover for the battery to protect it in inclement weather.

We did wish that the handle was longer.

But we did find it really easy to maneuver and lift when needed.

We also found it effective at clearing snow from compact spaces, due to its size and features.

I love that it has two wheels so its easier to push on different terrain and snow conditions.

It doesnt fold, but its the lightest option we tested and small enough to store inside.

We think it could be a good option for taller users, though.

We also noted how easy each shovel was to turn on and maneuver around our property.

However, we didnt find any too fatiguing for shorter periods.

We also noted whether these features made it easier to use.

We noted if the shovel struggled or got clogged and how it performed on different surfaces and terrains.

Value: We considered the value of each electric snow shovel based on its features and performance.

We also noted our favorite features and what we thought could be improved.

Also, consider the height of the handle.

However, each one varies in the distance it can throw (depending on the conditions).

The shovels we tested have a throwing distance that varies from 20 to 32 feet.

They also vary in the depth and width they can handle.

If your snowfall is typically deeper than 8 inches, you may need asingle- or double-stage snowblowerinstead.

Large paved areas like a deck or driveway are easier to clear with a wider electric snow shovel.

Youll have to do extra passes on wider areas, though.

The wheels can make it easier to maneuver during snow storms, and back into storage after use.

Foldable Handle: Many outdoor landscaping tools now have foldable handles, which gives you more storage options.
