Take an aspirin tablet and crush it up, then drop that into the vase water.

It also helps keep your water clean and prevents microbial growth.

Aspirin tablets contain acetylsalicylic acid and a binder. Sometimes the pills also include a buffer.

Just remember: plants shouldnt have too much vodka, so keep the drops to a minimum.
